BIO & ARTIST STATEMENT

Jorge L. Palomarez was born and raised in San Antonio, Tx. He has traveled the globe as a United States marine. The world as he knows it is his immediate motivation as it is apparent in his larger than life works. J. Palomarez creates with the intent of having special meaning to each individual work. His powerful style and attention to detail makes his body of work destinct and genuine with each work of art having its own back story.

Today J. Palomarez is living and working as a free lance viusal artist in Austin, Tx with his team of designers and artists.

Underground Connections Presented the celebration for the launch of ♥ LOVE LOCAL ♥ 2014 Austin Art Calendar at Mindzai Creative ATX on Friday January 3rd 2014. 12 artists, myself included, are featured within the calander.

There was Complimentary beverages, BYOS (bring your own shirt) for a FREE custom screen print, and calendars for purchase, as well as orginal works of art!!

Jared Schuren, a sponsor of the event and owner of Kunst Gallery purchesed an abstract oil painting of mine within the first hour of the show. Thanks man!
